TRCSL Shines as Runner-Up at State Services Challenge Trophy 2024 Softball Cricket Tournament.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) proudly secured the Runner-Up position in the prestigious State Services Challenge Trophy 2024 Softball Cricket Tournament.

The tournament witnessed the participation of 16 teams representing various Sri Lankan state institutions. After a series of competitive matches, the TRCSL team and the Department of Education team advanced to the finals.

The final match took place on 13th December 2024 at the Colombo Shalika Grounds. Under the leadership of team captain Mr. Neelanga Ranasinghe, the TRCSL team displayed exceptional skill and teamwork, finishing as Runner-Up. Additionally, Mr. Neelanga Ranasinghe was recognized for his outstanding performance and was awarded the title of Best Bowler of the match.

The Director General of TRCSL, Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Bandula Herath, congratulated the team for their remarkable achievement and commended their sportsmanship and dedication.

This accomplishment underscores TRCSL's commitment to excellence, both on and off the field.
